CryptoWeighter Publishing Tools for Cryptocurrency Blogs

Professional cryptocurrency blogs often discuss relative valuations of various cryptocurrencies. And crypto portfolio managers find reasons for the relative attractiveness of one coin or token over another. The question becomes how does one weight a portfolio to reflect these relative attractiveness ratings and key performance indicators.

At CryptoWeighter we consider key factors when weighting portfolios. For example, market capitalization, USD trading volume, and price performance. To simplify, if a manager favors Coin A over Coin B by a factor of 2 to 1, then we weight Coin A twice as heavily as Coin B. And if this same manager has 20 coins in the portfolio, all of the coins are weighted in relation to each other based on the stipulated valuation measurment like market cap, price performance, or USD trading volume. CryptoWeighter's data feed of real-time prices and fundatmental data are provided by CoinMarketCap. Our native software generates real-time portfolio weightings instantly based on these underlying assumptions.

CyrptoWeigher displays the user's portfolio, which we call his Control Portfolio, and then we show multiple portfolios weighted by up to eighteeen different weighting methods. All quantitatively based portfolios are strictly programmed and rules-based. The manager is then able to compare how his Control Portfolio is weighted versus how the quantitatively generated portfolios are weighted.

There are also other resources available for cryptocurrency research. For example, our Coin / Token Universe allows the user to search and sort. For example, a user could sort the Universe by those coins and tokens with the best price performance, the highest trading volume, or the highest market cap. And the info-cards for each of the cryptocurrencies in the Universe show the ranking of each cryptocurrency as to market cap, price performance, and trading volume:

Chances are, the professional blogger would like to compare his recommended portfolio versus perhaps an equally-weighted portfolio or some other method like using market cap or the relative price performance. Using CryptoWeighter, a blogger can create portfolios and then insert the i-frame of each of the portfolios in his published blog. For example, here is a portfolio of large-cap cryptocurrency coins and tokens that are weighted by relative market capitalizations. Note how the coins and tokens are categorized, how the relative market weightings are the same as their relative market caps, and that coin and token information is provided by clicking the up arrow. In the portfolio below,10 additional weighting methods are displayed.

And, if the professional blogger wanted to show just the Control Portfolio, here is an i-frame for just that view:
